Ebony and Harley originally booked afternoon drinks and evening sax at Colshaw Hall, alongside DJ Andy Murphy. Adding the ceremony package gave them space for bespoke versions of favourite songs, including an acoustic saxophone bridal entrance to Forever, inspired by Samantha Harvey’s version.
After the ceremony, live sax on the lawn kept the atmosphere flowing while the couple had their photographs taken and guests enjoyed drinks. The evening brought a different energy with Andy Murphy on the decks. It is a useful example of how one saxophonist can give each part of your day its own feel, from a meaningful entrance to an interactive party.

Musicianship, with a personal touch.
Spencer has around 17 years of professional experience and performs at more than 100 weddings a year. He holds a first-class degree and a Master’s with Distinction in saxophone performance from the Royal Northern College of Music. His approach is to read the room: give guests a relaxed soundtrack when they want to talk, then invite them into the performance when it is time to celebrate.

Planning your wedding music
Can we choose a special song for the ceremony?
Yes. Share the song and version you have in mind when planning your ceremony add-on. Spencer can discuss the arrangement and agree music for guests arriving, your entrance, signing and exit.
Can the sax be a surprise for our guests?
Yes. Spencer can coordinate an entrance with your DJ and venue, including during the first dance or as the evening party begins. Agree the song, cue and timings beforehand so the surprise feels natural.
How do we check availability and the total price?
Send your wedding date, venue, preferred package and any timings you already know. Spencer will check availability and confirm the performance plan and any travel costs in your quote.
