Outdoor drinks and evening sax at Singleton Lodge

Singleton Lodge · Near Poulton-le-Fylde, Lancashire

Grace and Luke celebrated their twilight wedding at Singleton Lodge, near Poulton-le-Fylde, on Saturday 17 October 2026. I joined them for live sax during their afternoon drinks reception outside, then returned to the evening celebrations alongside Gary Mills DJ.

It was a lovely opportunity to bring sax into two different parts of their day: an outdoor reception on the lawn and live music with their DJ later on.

The afternoon set took place in the gardens, with the red-brick building behind me and guests gathered around the lawn and terrace. We had blue sky and autumn sunshine for the outdoor performance, with fallen leaves scattered across the grass.

For Grace and Luke’s twilight wedding, live sax accompanied that time outside together. The photographs capture the setting beautifully: guests chatting, the open lawn and the venue as the backdrop to the music.

Evening sax alongside Gary Mills DJ

My booking also included evening sax alongside Gary Mills DJ. Gary provided the DJ music, while I performed on sax—bringing the live instrument into the evening after the afternoon drinks set.

Combining drinks reception sax with evening sax lets you include live music at more than one point in the celebration. If you already have a DJ booked, I can work alongside them, just as I did with Gary for Grace and Luke.

A twilight wedding in Lancashire

Thank you, Grace and Luke, for having me as part of your Singleton Lodge wedding. Playing outdoors in the October sunshine was a lovely start to a day that continued with sax and DJ music in the evening.

This first selection of photographs focuses on the afternoon performance and the gardens. It gives couples planning a wedding near Poulton-le-Fylde a glimpse of how an outdoor sax set can look in this setting.
